🔧 Why the right jet is important:
If the jet is too small ("lean" mixture), you'll get too little fuel → this can lead to overheating, poorer performance, or even engine damage.
If the jet is too large ("rich" mixture), you'll get too much fuel → which causes soot formation, smoke, poorer combustion, and waste.
With modifications such as a different exhaust or air filter, you often need to adjust the jet to optimize the mixture again.
